The KCAF joined with local hair salons to collect donations throughout the month of October using adorable piggy banks for an amazing purpose- raising money to help fund a mobile mammography unit. 

Several salons uniquely decorated their pig and placed it in an area where their clients could make donations.

LaVie Spa and Salon collected the most money ($1,963) during the month of October and won KCAF t-shirts, lunch for the staff, and a photo of its employees in the local newspaper.
